English: Taiwan is done. A new book by a renowned law professor (who escaped from China to Australia) has revealed China's strategy to control Taiwan in 2012. Why 2012? Because China's president Hu will step down in that year, Taiwan has presidential elections and ... well I guess 2012 sounds good for such a thing anyway with all that end of the world mumbo jumbo going on. However, it is no rocket science to conclude China wants to control Taiwan before the election of 2012. Because if the China-friendly president of Taiwan (Ma, KMT) does not get re-elected, Taiwan would have a pro-independence president again (from the DPP) and thus escape China's grasp.

My blog here once predicted Taiwan would be basically linked to China by contracts and/or established procedures in 2012 which would make the 2012 election rather a local governor election. I fear I am right. I'll dig out the link to my old article eventually.
Ah yes, the author of the book says, the American secret service helped to gather proof for the money laundering of Taiwan's former (pro-independence, DPP) president Chen who is now in jail and whose scandal made the election of the now pro-Chinese president Ma (KMT) possible. Remember, the US needs China now (anti-Terror war, owing money to China).

Laut einem neu erschienenden Buch, siehe http://en.secretchina.com/news/3575.html hat die kommunistische Partei aus China Taiwans regierende KMT-Partei unterwandert, was natürlich den Schwenk in 2008 von einer den Status-Quo bewahrenden Partei zu einer prochinesischen Partei erklären würde. Außerdem sollen amerikanische Geheimdienste dahinter stecken, dass die Geldschiebereien des letzten (Pro-Unabhängigkeits-)Präsidenten Chen (DPP) aufgedeckt wurden. Man erinnere sich, damals brauchten die USA China für den "War on Terror" und heute brauchen sie es als Schuldner. Chinas Geheimplan ist laut dem Buch, Taiwan bis 2012 zu kontrollieren, denn dann wäre ja auch die nächste Präsidentschaftswahl, wo der Kurs wieder in Richtung (der faktisch schon existierenden) Unabhängigkeit des demokratischen Taiwans von China gestellt werden könnte.
In diesem Blog war auch schon mal zu lesen, dass Taiwan bis 2012 durch Verträge und Prozeduren de-facto zu einer chinesischen Provinz geworden sein wird... rechtzeitig vor der
nächsten Wahl...
